Who is an ENFJ?

ENFJ is an abbreviation used to identify one of the sixteen personality types defined by Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers. Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging are the acronyms for Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging. 

ENFJ describes a person who is stimulated by spending time with people (Extraverted), focuses on ideas and concepts rather than facts and specifics (iNtuitive), makes decisions based on feelings and values (Feeling), and prefers to be planned and structured rather than spontaneous and flexible (Judging). 

Because of their desire to help others develop and progress, ENFJs are frequently referred to as Teacher personalities.

Idealist organisers, ENFJs are compelled to put their vision of what is best for mankind into action. Because of their capacity to identify potential in others and their charm in swaying others to their ideals, they frequently function as catalysts for human progress. 

They are committed to their principles and vision, and they are enthusiastic about the possibilities that exist for people. ENFJs are enthusiastic and determined people who usually have a lot on their plates. 

They are sensitive to others’ needs and acutely aware of human suffering; however, they are also optimistic and forward-thinking, seeing opportunities for improvement intuitively. 

The ENFJ is ambitious, but not selfishly so: they believe they have a personal responsibility to make the world a better place.

  • ENFJs are strong extraverts who like spending time with others.
  • ENFJs are known for their excellent interpersonal abilities and are frequently described as warm, loving, and supportive.
  • ENFJs excel at motivating others and find personal fulfilment in assisting others.
  • ENFJs are so preoccupied with helping others that they overlook their own needs.
  • ENFJs are also prone to being too critical of themselves, blaming themselves when things go wrong and failing to give themselves enough credit when things go well. As a result, it is critical for persons with this personality type to schedule time to respond to their own needs on a regular basis.
  • ENFJs excel at bringing people together who have opposing viewpoints. As a result, they may be excellent leaders and instil passion in a group that is both motivating and inspiring.

Who is an INFP?

The INFP personality type was developed by Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers, the authors of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®). INFP stands for Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, and Perceiving, which are four key personality qualities based on C.G. Jung’s work.

Each of the four letters of the INFP code represents a significant personality feature of the INFP personality type. 

INFPs are stimulated by alone time (Introverted), focus on ideas and concepts rather than facts and specifics (iNtuitive), base their decisions on feelings and values (Feeling), and like to be spontaneous and flexible rather than planned and structured (Perceiving).

Because of their empathetic idealism and gentle concern for others, the INFP personality type is often known as the “Healer.” The INFP is also known by the following nicknames:

  • The Thoughtful Idealist (MBTI)
  • The Mediator (16Personalities)

An INFP prefers an unstructured and free-spirited lifestyle. INFP is an introverted and ultra-creative Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality type. The INFP is sensitive, creative, and loyal to their values.

INFPs are creative idealists who are guided by their primary ideals and beliefs. A Healer who is preoccupied with possibilities; the actuality of the time is merely a fleeting concern. INFPs see the possibility of a brighter future and seek truth and purpose in their own unique way.

INFPs are sensitive, loving, and compassionate people who are highly concerned with their own and others’ personal progress. INFPs are individualistic and nonjudgmental, believing that each person must forge their own path. 

INFPs like spending time investigating their own ideas and ideals, and they gently encourage others to do the same. INFPs are creative and frequently artistic; they like discovering new ways to express themselves.   

INFP Personality Type Characteristics Are –

  • INFPs are introverts who are quiet and reserved. INFPs find that being in social situations depletes their energy, thus they prefer to connect with a small number of close pals. While they like being alone, this should not be mistaken for timidity. Rather, it simply implies that INFPs get energy from alone time. INFPs must, on the other hand, devote energy to social circumstances.
  • INFPs rely on intuition and are more concerned with the overall picture than the finer points of a situation. INFPs can be quite thorough about things that are important to them or tasks they are working on, yet they tend to overlook little or insignificant details.
  • INFPs value personal sentiments above everything else and their actions are affected more by these concerns than by objective data.
  • INFPs prefer to keep their choices open when it comes to making decisions. INFPs frequently put off making key judgments in case the circumstance changes. The majority of judgments are made based on personal ideals rather than reasoning.

What are these 9 reasons why ENFJs are attracted to INFPs?

INFPs are very helpful.

INFPs are really helpful buddies. INFPs see your victory as their victory as well, and they may become enthusiastic far faster than anybody else. Once an INFP recognises your expertise and talent, they will continue to encourage you to improve it.

INFPs grin the brightest when they are absorbed in their passion or in the company of their loved ones. Most people’s initial impressions of INFPs are serious and aloof, although they can be humorous, bright, and outgoing with their friends.

Anything that piques their interest excites them. For example, INFPs may have a favourite cartoon series, novel, or musical production. INFPs get jittery, laugh a lot, and show a lot of enthusiasm. INFPs have adorable and childish personalities. 

People like how their happiness spreads to those around them. INFPs’ excitement is really pleasant and contagious when they don’t care what the rest of the world thinks.

INFPs are friends for life.

INFPs are difficult to understand. Getting inside their circle is a bit of a maze, but once there, friendships are treasured for a long time. INFPs put their feelings in you.

INFPs will take your secrets to the grave and defend you even when you are not present. INFPs refrain from gossiping about you behind your back. INFPs place high importance on friendship and may feel compelled to demonstrate it. 

The more years pass, the more INFPs value their friendship. As long as you don’t betray them, INFPs will remain loyal to you.

INFPs are attentive to people’s tones, gestures, and intentions. INFPs treat others the same way since they are sensitive to such. INFPs will treat you the way they want to be treated. As a result, INFPs avoid upsetting anybody and exercise caution in their activities.

INFPs are inspiring.

When an INFP is pulled to their passions and ideas, they might create an army of others who believe in them. INFPs are optimistic, idealistic, nonconformists, kind, and self-sufficient all at the same time.

It’s such an attractive and strong persona in the eyes of others. An INFP’s visions resonate with others and motivate them to accomplish better as well.

INFPs are nonconformists.

At first glance, INFPs may appear sweet, soft-hearted, and naïve. But it won’t be long until others learn INFPs are, after all, lone wolves. INFPs are self-sufficient and nonconformists.

Some individuals see INFP nonconformity as selfishness and obstinacy. INFPs may go against the grain, espouse their principles, and hold controversial views. INFPs respect their identity’s authenticity and depart from being team players.

Because INFPs value authenticity, they cannot be forced to carry out initiatives they do not believe in. Pep speeches and promotions will be
